GRP FIBREGLASS ROOFING
We fit GRP fibreglass roofing with customised colours and a choice of anti-slip finish and offer a 20-year warranty on full installations.
GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) Fibreglass has become one of the most popular forms of flat roofing systems because it is not only a strong, durable material but doesn’t add too much extra weight to the structure.
GRP roofs are maintenance-free and with no seams joints or welds they remains completely watertight and UV resistant.
GRP roofing can resist heavy traffic and can be sealed with a non slip coating, therefore suitable for balconies and walkways.
It also makes an ideal roof for porches, garages, and extensions.
ASHPHALT ROOFING & STEPS
Ashphalt is a very versatile roofing suitable for any size roof and a range of surfaces, including concrete, timber, and metal.
Specially formulated mastic asphalt is ideal for flat roof coverings, using advanced polymer technology to give
the ideal combination of long term durability, increased fatigue resistance, and improved temperature stability.
It can withstand normal weather conditions and heavy foot traffic. Installed and maintained properly, asphalt roofing can last for over 30 years.
Asphalt has a smooth, clean finish, which can look neat and tidy and is popular for its matte finish.
As well as ashphalt roofing, we offer asphalt step and walkway installations and restoration.
TILE & SLATE ROOFING
We offer complete or partial re-roofing for tile or slate roofs.
If a tile or slate on your roof becomes broken or damaged, it is best to get it fixed as quickly and efficiently as possible before any further damage occurs to your property.
Slate is a very durable material and is available in three varieties: natural, artificial, and zinc. This style of roofing offers an authentic and beautiful appearance for traditional-style homes.
Tiles have been created with similar properties and are also hardwearing and long lasting. Produced from either concrete or clay, they are more suited to modern houses, and available in multiple styles and colours.
Installed correctly, slate roofs can last up to 150 years, and tiled roofs can last up to 70 years - far longer than many other roof coverings which typically have a lifespan of 20 to 30 years.
This durability means a slightly larger initial investment but a slate or tile roof will always prove greater value in the long term.
Slate and Tile roofing is extremely fire-resistant. All our slate and tile roofs are installed in accordance with BS5534 - the industry code of practice.
LEADWORK
An extremely resilient metal, lead is ideal for external use in construction.
Lead sheet comes in multiple thicknesses and weights for different functions such as stopping rainwater from entering complex junctions that would otherwise be very difficult to keep weatherproof and channel rainwater off a building. The thicker the lead, the more durable it is.
Lead detailing must allow for expansion and contraction as weather conditions change. It has a malleable quality allowing it to be worked into architectural features for decorative finishes.
Lead is commonly used for:
-
Flashings – apron, chimney, cover, dormer, or gable
-
Rainwater goods including hoppers, outlets, downpipes, and brackets
-
Bay window roof coverings
-
Flat roofs
-
Parapet wall capping
-
Roof ridges and roof hips
-
Valley gutters
-
Cladding
-
Weatherproofing cornices
All our lead works are carried out to Lead Sheet Association standards.
